TireConnect-Facebook integration guide

At this moment there are two ways how TC Widget count be implemented to Facebook.

Button with redirect link to your website.

On FB page click on + Add a Button.

Step 1: In popup menu select button name and purpose of this button.

Step 2: Select Website link option

In popup enter link to your website with TC widget and press Save.

I.e. https://www.tireconnect.ca/ecommerce-product/

Last step it’s just click on Finish and button with link to your website will be ready.

TC Widget should be added on new or existing FB page.

How to create FB page

  1. In right upper corner click on triangle and select Create page.
  2. Select Business or Brand and press Get Started.
  3. Enter Page Name and select Category. We recommend to select Tire Dealer & Repair Shop.
  4. Enter additional fields: Address fields(required) and Phone Number(optional).


How to add TC Widget to existing FB page


  1. Make sure you’re administrator of page.
  2. Open new tab and paste url in address tab:
    https://www.facebook.com/dialog/pagetab?app_id=130233173979262&redirect_uri=https://wl.tireconnect.ca/facebook.php/
  3. In dropdown select page for TC Widget and press Add Page Tab.
  4. On previously selected page now you can see page with application in sidebar menu.

  5. Open it and you’ll see form where you should paste your API key for Facebook and select widget type.

  6. Then just click on Submit button and TC Widget will appear.
  7. You always could change widget type using TireConnect Settings under widget in right upper corner.

How to provide an admin access to FB page

  1. Open Settings of your FB page
  1. Select Page Roles in sidebar menu.
  1. In Assign a New Page Role section enter provided email, select person, set up Admin role in dropdown and click Add.
